Chandigarh International Airport is an international airport in Chandigarh City of the Indian state of Punjab. Chandigarh is the union territory of the country and also the capital of the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. The airport handles both domestic and international flights, the airport serves seven domestic airlines with 26 destinations within India and serves two International Airlines.

The Airport operates under the Government of Punjab, Government of Haryana, and Airports Authority of India. The Airport is well connected with the major cities in India. The new upgraded runway is 12,400 ft long with an effective take-off length of runway 10,400 ft and the airport facilities are operated by CHIAL (Chandigarh International Airport Limited). The has 48 check-in counters, six contact gates, three passenger boarding bridges/aerobridges, four 72m baggage conveyor belts, and a parking facility for 500 cars, and the airport is designed as a green building concept.
