Bhatinda Airport is located in the city near the village of Virk Kalan Bhatinda, Punjab, India. It is a civil
enclave at the Bhisiana Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force. The domestic air terminal is being built near
village. The Airport operates under Airport Authority of India (AAI). The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has
constructed the Bhatinda Civil Enclave on 42 acres of land owned by Indian Air Force. The Airport has 9,200 ft
long runway. The terminal has the capacity of handling 100 passengers per hour with a waiting area that can seat
30 people. Flight operations at Bhatinda Airport commenced from 11.12.2016. Initially alliance air operated flights,
